Into Your Hands We Eventually Fall

For those who see

Every loss now breaks the heart

Just a little bit more

Until we are left with only

Faith

That life goes on

Beyond our touch

And remains

Ever present like a tiny

Breeze that seeps into sleep

Through an open window

And sooths the soul

And if we catch it,

A silver ribbon

Of Grace arrives and

Carries us on in waking moments,

As we move,

As we walk,

As we pray

As we weep,

As we live.

And you remain in the sweetest corners

Of our broken hearts

Bound together with hope

That you are safe

And free and there,

Just there

For those who see.
